All India Law Entrance Test (AILET Exam) is conducted by National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) for admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level law courses. This is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to law programmes at NLU Delhi only.
Note: No other entrance exam is accepted for NLU Delhi admissions. CLAT 2025 score is also not acceptable for admission to NLU Delhi.

NLU Delhi will share the exam pattern and syllabus of AILET along with admission notification. Based on the previous year’s exam pattern, the AILET question paper for BA LLB (Hons) has three sections wherein, the Logical Reasoning section carries 70 marks, the English Language carries 50 marks, and the Current Affairs & GK section carries 30 marks. AILET Admit Card 2025
The National Law University (NLU), Delhi will tentatively release AILET 2025 Admit Card in November 2024 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Admit cards will be issued only to those candidates who have successfully completed the AILET 2025 application process in online mode.
Candidates will not be able to recieve their AILET admit card in offline mode. The admit card of AILET 2025 is the most important document to appear in the AILET exam 2025.
How to Download AILET Admit Card 2024?
To download the AILET hall ticket, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NLU Delhi – http://www.nludelhi.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the AILET Admissions button.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Already Registered? Login’ button.
Step 3: You will be redirected to the login window where you need to enter the following details:

AILET Answer Key 2025
NLU Delhi will tentatively release the answer key for AILET 2025 (provisional answer key) in December 2024. The answer key of AILET exam are published in two modes – Provisional answer key and Final answer key. First, the exam authority publishes provisional answer keys for AILET BA LLB and LLM separately. The provisional answer key indicates correct options against each question. Moreover, candidates can raise objections on the provisional answer key in case there are any discrepancies on it. Thereafter, the final key for AILET is published with revised answers based on the objections submitted by candidates against the provisional answer key. AILET Result 2025
NLU Delhi will tentatively declare results of AILET 2025 in December 2024 on the official website of NLU Delhi. Candidates will be able to check their qualifying status for BA LLB and LLM entrance exam by entering their credentials on the result login window. The result-cum-scorecard of AILET 2025 will include details like the marks, rank, and qualifying status of the candidate.

AILET Admission Process 2025
The admission process of NLU Delhi through AILET 2025 includes the following steps:
Step 1: Online Registration
Candidates can register online on the official website of NLU Delhi – https://nludelhi.ac.in and fill all the required details in the application form, upload prescribed documents and pay the exam fee. The AILET application form 2025 for AILET can be submitted in online mode only.
Step 2: AILET 2024 Admit Card
NLU Delhi issues admit cards to candidates who successfully register for the exam. Candidates have to carry the admit card of AILET 2025 on exam day. Any candidate carrying the admit card is not allowed to appear for the exam.
Step 3: AILET 2025 Exam – Candidates have to appear for AILET at the allotted test center as mentioned on the admit card. They should report at the test centers at least an hour before the examination.
Step 4: Result Declaration – NLU Delhi usually announces AILET results within a month after conducting the examination. The scorecards of candidates qualifying the examination mention their All India Ranks (AIRs), sectional scores as well as overall scores.
Step 5: Counselling – The university conducts AILET counseling based on the rank list released at the time of the result. In the counselling session, qualifying candidates are allotted seats in their respective law courses based on merit.
AILET Counselling 2025
AILET counselling is conducted online via the AILET Portal, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The counselling process includes the following steps:
AILET Counselling Registration and Submission of the Registration Fee
After the release of the AILET result, candidates are required to register for counselling at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. During this registration process, candidates are required to submit scanned copies of their educational documents, ID proofs, and other relevant documents and pay the registration fee.
AILET Merit Lists
Once the counselling registration is over, NLU Delhi releases AILET merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses to shortlist eligible candidates for admission. The university usually releases four merit lists for each of the two courses.
Submission of the Admission Fee
If a candidate is selected on the AILET merit list, he or she will have to pay the admission fee online before the deadline ascertained by NLU Delhi.
Reporting to College
In the last step of AILET counselling, candidates will have to visit NLU Delhi to secure the seats allotted to them.
